The MIXAP Research Project
Shaping the future of education through Mixed Reality.
About the project
MIXAP is an European ERASMUS+ research project that empowers teachers to create and use Mixed Reality (MR) in their classrooms. More than just a tool, MIXAP is a collaborative initiative combining pedagogy, technology, and teacher expertise.
Partners
- 🇫🇷 Le Mans Université (France)
- 🇩🇰 Technical University of Denmark (DTU)
- 🇹🇷 Bahçeşehir University (Turkey)
Objectives
- Develop an easy-to-use AR authoring tool
- Help teachers design interactive learning activities
- Build a sustainable international teacher community
- Evaluate the impact of MR on teaching and learning
Our approach
We follow a co-design methodology, working directly with teachers through:
- Local & international workshops
- Classroom testing & pilots
- Focus groups & feedback loops
- Shared practices across schools and countries
MIXAP is built with teachers, not just for them.
Why it matters
Augmented Reality can:
- Boost student engagement & curiosity
- Support differentiated instruction
- Make learning more visual, hands-on, and inclusive
